Director-General of the Disease Control Department, Thongchai Keeratihattayakorn, spoke about the vaccine’s side effects, emphasising that the incidences of blood clotting were known globally and were anticipated.

At 7 out of 20,000,000 it is also quite a lot lower than the published incidence, which is 2 to 3 events per 100,000 people vaccinated, and the risk has been known and public for over three years now.
