Just ban all the street vendor foods along the beache....That would solve the problem to a great extent.

Just issue all the loitering ladyboys with air rifles and pay them a bounty on rat corpses, might give them another source of income rather than Indian tourists gold necklaces.

I saw rats as big as cats when I was last on Beach Road in 2010. Even the dogs were a bit scared.

As for the rumour that ladyboys like to eat rats. Well! Up here in Isaan they are sold everywhere (rats not LBs). So don't think it is a ladyboy thing specifically. Unless most ladyboys come from Isaan, and just graduate to Patts for the dosh.

The only time I seen the Rat and stray Soi Dog  population  go down in Pattaya  during  the past 12 years was during Covid (amazing what folk do when they're hungry).
