The FBI is warning synagogues in the US state of New Jersey to keep safe after it says it has obtained credible threats online. The threats were apparently broad in scope, but the FBI has urged all synagogues to “take all security precautions to protect your community and facility.” According to NPR.org, the online threat did not target any specific synagogue by name and officials say they could not discuss details of their investigation publicly. Jersey City Mayor Steven Fulop says police would increase their presence at the city’s seven synagogues and add foot patrols in the broader Jewish community. […]

As someone who used to live in New Jersey, thank you for keeping us apprised of the news relevant to foreigners living in or interested in Thailand.  By telling us about a synagogue in New Jersey.

In case you missed it, there is a big thing going now in the USA with some afro americans  promoting anti semitic claims. There's Kanye West with his threat to go "def com 3 on jews" because he is blaming them for his bipolar mental illness episodes and "control" of  shoe promotion agreement, despite his contract being with Germany's Adidas and judenfrei. He's going around promoting controversy with his White Lives Matter  shirts and false claims about the death of George Floyd. The latest event is with NY Nets basketball player kylie Irving promoting anti semitic claims and a "documentary" filled with falsehoods, including the claim that the  holocaust never happened.  When confronted with the inaccuracies his response was that he  hadn't seen the documentary but thought people should see it, because "you know".

It's an explosive political issue because few people in the "progressive" movement  and within  afro american activist groups are holding these people responsible for their lies and idiocies. . And so back to the New Jersey situation and its relevance. The threat against ahouses of worship reflects the increase in the  circulation of lies. There is also a growing opinion that some of the misinformation has been planted by foreign political groups seeking to cause dissension in the USA.  it wouldn't be the first time the  region which profited from selling africans into slavery  attempts to deflect the responsibility to others. This was last seen with the Darfur crisis of  Sudan that had black christian africans murdered and  forced into defacto slavery.  Whenever we see a problem in Iran, or problems in  Russia  or China as we are seeing now, along comes something to deflect attention and to socially destabilize western democracies.
