Korean 747 with 269 passengers was shot down by a Soviet fighter after straying into Russian airspace. The Pilot of the fighter later said in a documentary he trailed the 747 and identified it as a passenger aircraft but he was ordered to shoot it down.

Hush now., go and read the Wikipedia page and come back with some claims that aren’t quite as farcical.

Stop trolling Haw Haw suppose this is old news as well from Al Jazera yesterday.

Wow.. you tried to check your sources. Well done! Slight problem.. old news again. Old footage and 3 day old claims by Ukraine don’t exactly stack up when compared to the evacuation of almost 500 civilians from Mariupol and the steelworks 3 days ago. We will see how today’s evacuations from Mariupol turn out.

No I was just enjoying the delicious irony of you always quoting the MSM when it suits your argument and then being completely dismissive of them when they dont.

Wait. Thats hypocrisy isn't it.

I always provide credible links to everything I state as a fact. If others did the same we wouldn’t be having this “discussion”. Is this you employing the sneaky old ruse of “attack the messenger so as to invalidate the message?  Wait. That’s deflection isn’t it.

ps: Well played and thanks for keeping me on my toes  I shall take no further questions. Mic drop.

Its odd is it not? How the MSM decide to publish whopping great lies only with topics you disagree with.

Its almost as if they have you under surveillance.

What a load of crap. Norway was not the only one doing convoys. So were British-, American- and a lot of ships from other occupied countries to. And they ran the same danger.
And they hadn't to chose where they were sent or what cargo they transported.
And if Norway didn't help the Allied in WWII, maybe you would have been speaking German now (except of course if you were living in Siberia).

Why should Russia not threaten the US Pacific fleet?

The Empire fights without skin in the game, prints the worthless dollar while the MIC continues to reap hyge profits off the deaths of slavs.  Not only is this a war USA is fighting with no cost, but they are even massively profiting.

No skin in the game leads to situations where there are no incentives for taking  responsibility.  A president with advanced dementia and a totally deadlocked political scenery leaves USA with little to no room for maeouvres.

If USA continues to actively take part in destruction of Russia assets, adding more strategic and tactical threats to one vulnerable aircraft carrier, or even aiding other nations in sinking one should be considered.

   What would this entail:

*A continued lack of actin by the West. NATO hawks could whine about article 5, but would probably be totally unable to do anything. USA cannot strike back without risking nuclear escalation and even the crazies in Pentagon will not see a value in nuclear war over avenging a lost carrier.

*US carrier fleet remains one of the last visible traces if their zeal for Global domination. A destruction of a US carrier would likely be hailed as a huge step towards world freedom for all the nations who are victims of the US "rules-based" order. A further political rethinking may happen in USA when thousands of US naval personell are merely slaughered like pigs.

*Any such action would further increase the tension between the warmongers of the state department and the Pentagon. Active Naval commanders may quit or revolt as they are feeling they are being scarificed over the games of the hegemon.

*Taiwan will start realize that the smartest action is NOT to be the sacrifical pawn of USA.

How could such a feat be accomplised?

Russia could sell/give hypersonic missiles to Iran/North Korea or other nations who are under constant war from USA. One could even see the Houthis in Yemen take up such  an offer. Training in use of such a weapon would be likely to succeeed as it requires a small amount of trainees and a small area to keep secret.

This is likely to be a next step in escalation of proxy war without raising the threat of a nuclear conflict. I>f this can be done, it is more likely than not the best way for Russia to tell USA that if they (USA) can send arms and intelligence to Ukraine, which leads to death of Russian personell and destruction of Russian assets, so can Russia to the same towards USA.

Whether or not Zelensky is "defying" Russia these days is insignificant. The entire conflict is now led from Pentagon and the Arbat district.

    (This is a translated article)...

lay pipelines from Quatar through the country into Turkey and then Europe. Now, that option is lost and another source of cheaper energy supplies is gone.

I loaded crude oil in Syria in the early seventies, so why should they lay (excisting) pipelines? Or maybe they are destroyed?
Qatar is a big exporter from LNG. They have contracts with Western Europe. Shipping is with a steady flow of LNG carriers (ranging from 135000 to 270000 cubic meter).

You talk like an idiot. And like an ignorant Amerikan or the typical Brit who cannot realize time is up.

Our women don't like snarling losers from Anglo-world. I can also tell you that we are quite good at a range of sports and activities besides cross country. Although you are correct about our skiing skills. My 4 year old niece was skiing close to Trondheim one weekend and we encountered 20 US "marines" who were going to learn skiing. They could not stand on their feet down the smallest of slopes; they could not go horizontally any faster than I used to do when I was two years. They are only here for military posturing and not "to learn winter fighting". Our local home militia regularly eat them for breakfast in small tactical exercises and I doubt very much may of them could survive a night out on their own. Complete losers and not very much of "warriors".

"hiding pocket ships in fjords"? Where have you been? And no help in conflicts? Even though the British have done more damage to Noray since the Napoleonic age and throughout, we did sacrifice our tanking fleet to ensure the Royal Airforce got 90% of their air fuel in 1940. Thinking about it now, it was probably a big mistake. We should instead have sent out fleet to India/Afrika and kept shipping lanes there open.

You can try to taunt and act like a complete A-ss from afar as much as you want, but behind these words, I feel pretty sure is the (not so much) beating heart of a bickering buffoon.

We are sick and tired of the colonial overlords from the West telling us what to do. We are not afraid of Russia, nor seeking them as "friends". Nations are not "friends", but partners or neighbors. WE have to be neighbors with Russia. WE have to negotiate with Russian fishermen over preservation of the sea lanes and the fishing rights.  We are dependent upon getting access to Russian ports when there are emergences and when repairs and logistics are needed to keep our fishing fleet effective.

Our politicians are (for the most) just as useless as the regular leaders of the West, but our people are increasingly becoming VERY tired of being used as pawns by the usual coward armchair generals in London or DC.

You are of course entitled to your opinion, and personal feelings. But reviewing the most recent polling about Norway's involvement with NATO would suggest your feelings are not shared by the vast majority of Norway.

https://www.statista.com/statistics/1294333/survey-perception-nato-membership-norway/

The poll indicated only a miniscule  4.4 % of Norwegians wanted to leave NATO. This would seem to indicate they are prepared to support a measure of outside unity beyond your desires, and not so sick of any "colonial overlords" as you would suggest.

Or is it because Jens Stoltenberg, the Secretary General of NATO for nearly the past 8 years is Norwegian. Is he too one of the "colonial overlords" you refer to?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jens_Stoltenberg

All countries are dependent on others in cases of emergencies, sometimes placing them in conflict to national sentiment about those other countries. But in this case, Norway seems pretty clear on its position, which seems to be very different to the one you have chosen.

Perhaps you should emigrate to a country more favourable to your political and social demands if it means so much and you feel so strongly.

Nobody can make "unbiased" polls quicker than Western media and the ango internet trolls who know nothing.

The Anglo-Americans are simply very stupid people and have (for the most) always been.

Those “very stupid people” invented over 80% of the entire modern world inventions ( Germans Italians French the rest) and liberated Europe /Norway & East Asia from Fascists and kept all safe from Russia & China.

What did Norway ever invent or contribute, compared to the “ English- speaking Peoples”, to quality & modernity of life and world freedom ? Not even 0.1%, so just be quiet, fool.

What are you talking about? England liberated Norway?? What??

The brits ravaged the Norwegian civilian coastal traffic during WW2, where little or no German defenses were. After all, it was a bit easier to attack defenseless civillian ships than German ports manned with 109's and FW-190's.

Russia, OTOH, lost 40000 men when they liberated East-Finmark in 1944. Even today, we commemorate the Red army in this region.

Again, it was Soviet Union and China who took the main brunt of work and casualties during WW2. For the most, the anglos came for a free ride and when they had to fight equal resistance, they mostly never won a single battle. During the Napoleonic era, British "sailors" practiced pure piratry on the entire Norwegian coast and mostly starved our civillian people to death or made them suffer for decades after. Something never seem to change.

The "inventions" you speak so warmly about were just as well evolved from continental Europe. Mostly, you applied militry might against smaller opponents as a continuation of the Roman divide and conquer. Although the latter actually DID manage to win some straight up battles where no deceit was used.

You know nothing of Norway. We have been doing fine on our own all the time and today, there is hardly a single thing that is better in UK or USA.

You can trust the regular Russian to have normal decent talk without all the double-speak. You can count on the average Russian to help you out in dire needs. You can NEVER count on the anglos for anything unless there is something significant in their own gains.

The war in Ukraine is stupid, illegitimate and wrong, but has two sides responsible and if it weren't for the instigators of Maidan, playing their usual trick of "regime change", we would never have been in the mess we are now. The inability of the anglos to undersrand a context seems impossible and when one points out they LIVE in glasshouses at every moment, all they can say is "whataboutism" (another word of neologism, whcih schizoprenics are known for) and tell you to not think about history.

I will never harm my own people, but neither will I lift a finger to harm Russians because the barking overseers in London, Washington and banking dynasties tell us to.

Taiwan protected by, and part of, a very strong alliance ready to crush the incompetent belligerent CCP military.

You are weirdly Very Anti -Free West and Very Pro- Tyrant East. Unlike 99% Real Norwegians I suspect.

Go East, Join CCP , Eat Tyranny & Be Quiet. Norway not about to leave NATO and become coward Neutral like Austria or Ireland. No rational reason !

Bah, nonsense of you to just come up with another "poll". Such things are not determined by the "independent" pollsters, but by people after lengthy debates.

Yes, our politicians and our bureaucrazy apparatus are all-in with regarfds to their bothlicking of NATO, but so are they with regards to needing the mighty FIAT dollar and no dare to think outside.

However, our PEOPLE are not such mere mindless pawns as you are trying to portray.

Stoltenberg is the head of NATO, isn't he? SO what does he have to do with Norway now? He is a puppett as much as they come and a willing pawn to do anything as long as some sheep dog barks loud enough.

You have no ability of cabability to make me go anywhere. I will continue to take part in the larger debate about the future role of Norway and believe that once this conflict is over (unless we have nuclear war), more heads will wake up and realize what we have been doing. Our nation and especially our region in north is much much more dependent upon a doable relationship with Russia, something puppetteers like yourself want to deny us at any cost.

You and your empire are on borrowed time and you will NOT drag us down with you. More and more people are waking up to this madness.

Nobody here believes for a second NATO will opt to send a single troop here as long as there is a war with Russia. Our membership in NATO is mostly political tokenism, just as it is never going to do anything, but cause death and destruction to our lands.

If you think LNG will help anyone besides the oil companies and it will maintain European standard of living, I think a ROman peace envoy would be more credible.

If you do not understand the challenges with LNG to solve today's energy problems in Europe I think it will be very hard for you to change your mind, for sure.
