I am astounded that in so many of the new housing developments in Hua Hin, everything is paved over. No trees on the sois and when it rains, no option of runoff going into the ground, just into the sewer. The environmental common sense is a zero from these developers. Even China is making an effort with the option of grating around street trees and trying to green building rooves. -

Good point Vigo Bud Hamza and Sturgeon were more interested in identity politics and culture wars than the welfare of the Scottish People the old cliche you get what you vote for springs to mind. The draconian hate speech laws was their final nail in the coffin. -

Hopefully not needed because the USN invests time and effort in the education of sailors on prevention of infection. The last thing these kids need is HPV or Herpes. There is a terrible epidemic of antibiotic resistant Gonorrhea and it is spreading fast. Worse is the new form of syphilis that is manifesting with tertiary stage symptoms at stage 1. The ocular strain is antibiotic resistant and is doing significant damage to patients. I do expect a few of the sailors to come back with covid since there is a surge in infections in Thailand now.- 1

Someone has a political grudge. I watched the video, and it is obvious that wasn't a romantic kiss. It is common in the Arab, Persian, Turkish, Pakistani, Afghani etc. culture to do this. Not sexual at all. As I recall, using gay slurs in muslim areas is a common way of politically hurting someone, so I suspect that there is a vendetta at play.- 1
