So educate yourself before posting in a public forum accusing people of "Whitewashing"

Very good post.

The problem is that these bigoted people don’t want facts and are selective over history. They just want the world to help them with their “feelings”. Their feelings and perceptions are real to them and they demand the rest of the world not only recognise those feelings, they want the rest of the world to feel as they do. They want the world to believe as they do and they then want the world to react as they do.

This mental illness they have is fantastic fuel for modern 24 hour news media and Social media. As a result, there is an assumption that more and more people, even the majority believe this nonsense. The reality is that they are a noisy minority who should be patted on the head and told to go away and play while the adults are busy.

Perhaps it only appropriation when it’s a white westerner who does it?

I think you hit the nail on the head right there. You can take the whole cultural appropriation thing to new heights of absurdity if you don't limit it to white westerners.
