Generous people in Pattaya are in the holiday spirit of giving. Local leaders and charities treated kids in Pattaya’s Khopai community to a Christmas party on Tuesday. Soi Khopai is located in the Bang Lamung district.  The children got to eat yummy food, play games, and win prizes. All very nice for the kids of course, but Christmas?  Santa?  A purely Christian Holiday? In a Buddhist country? Well, they are nothing if not adaptable.

Why aren’t Thai Buddhist who celebrate Christmas called out for cultural appropriation? Or does such nonsense only get pinned to nasty white Westerners?
