The story narration and relating it fully to the British guy doesn't make any sense at all. 
"The owner also noticed several new one-star reviews containing negative comments, and one of the comments came from 21 year old British man, Alexander."

What about the other commentators? Looks like the British guy is the scape goat. May be those comments could be realistic and the restaurant has to see its weakness and try to improve it instead of pointing fingers.

And the lesson learnt is .....avoid fancy restaurants and eat the local food at the night market and be a partron of street vendors which is more tasty, cheap and local.
