Send your kid to University and the scams they push on them is like playing whack-a-mole

Everything is a cost

At the beginning of his time at University, they didn't sell books, the teacher would print out pages and charge them, it was very costly

But the parents complained and that stopped

He is doing an elective class of going to Chulalakorn for an autopsy class, just a one day observation

Of course, they charge him

But I was telling my wife, he(other student observers) aren't costing Chula any money to observe a class, the money is obviously going into the teachers pocket

In December we are going back to my wife's elementary school. It is a pretty small, not well funded school

She wants to buy and donate a bunch of stuff for the kids

But she won't give the school any cash........she fears they will take it and not spend it on the kids
