Probably good advice. He probably has a lot of money so he could in theory buy out a resort, station guards around and have quite a great fun time here without any worry.

Strange that he still has a diplomatic passport. Then again for which country is the passport relevant?

Not very bright to not set up a bolt hole if things went sour or maybe not many countries like what he did.

Russia maybe or China next stop????

Maybe availing himself to a little plastic surgery etc in the LOS, who are only too happy to take your money and  who recently were spouting these wonders of tourism.

Not even close to the leader board. They'll have to overtake the U.S., U.K., Russia and other prominent Western sovereigns - all of which have a historic precedent of granting asylum or maintaining support for such dodgy types.
