Yes glad that Germany has started delivering 5,000 helmets to Ukraine's army. That would be very helpful to turn the tide against the Russians:

It's not ridiculed half as much as the New York Times.

You wouldn't be human if you didn't laugh.😂😂😂

"A Ukrainian tractor was filmed 'stealing' a huge Russian armoured vehicle.

The clip showed a tractor towing the tank as down a road as a man desperately chases after it.

Former Army Officer, Johnny Mercer, Conservative MP for Plymouth Moor View, shared the footage on Twitter saying: "No expert, but the invasion doesn’t seem to be going particularly well".

They will go well with the 1,000 anti tank rockets and 500 stinger anti aircraft missiles Germany is also sending.

What even I originally considered a joke is no longer anything for Russia to laugh about.

yes, it takes one side.  But this does not change the FACTS stated in this video.

This is the emblem of one of the divisions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine - the Azov regiment.

This is the "Wolf Hook", the sign was used by the Nazi units of the Waffen SS, for example, the Reich division.

The VDO contains images and footage void of any proven "facts" and was compiled by a self-styled, so-called 'journalist', who has a long history of producing pro Russian stuff.

Presumably Mig-29's from Poland, Slovakia or Bulgaria, or Su 25's from Bulgaria as anything else would be useless.

While fortunately they're the same as the Soviet versions so Ukraine can fly them, equally unfortunately they're the same as the Soviet versions so as likely to be shot down by the donated Stingers unless they use the IFF systems which is unlikely.

These things are seldom as simple as they seem.

took the US from being an energy exporter to being dependent on foreign oil. Russia benefited greatly from this.

Not that I agree with Biden’s policy on oil, I don’t, it’s not quite as clear cut as that. The fact the US imports oil doesn’t mean it’s dependent on foreign oil. Even when the US was a net exporter in 2020, they were still importing oil. Biden has little to nothing to do with that either way. The US needs to import oil because its higher tech refineries in Louisiana were designed to process the cheap thick higher sulfur level oil that comes out if Venezuela. Problem is the US isn’t allowed to import from there anymore. Therefore until the refineries finish spending the money to convert to the higher cost sweet oil that’s produced from shale, they need to import the right oil from somewhere. That cheap crummy oil right now comes from Russia. Expect Biden to cut that off very soon. Will suck for a while but it is what it is. On a side note, the US has the second largest oil reserves in the world and can within 1-2 months produce more than enough to become a net exporter again. It’s all about the price point of oil and it’s well above that level already.

Address The Issue not the Video.
Does this “ Azov” unit exist or not?

If it does what are its undisputed committed acts ?

And the west can always phone Saudi Arabia and ask them to open the taps.

Why cant America import Venezuelan oil? Genuine question.

Then let’s break it down & simplify. What exact fighter aircraft have been supplied by NATO ? I suspect None. Fighter Aircraft are Offensive Weapons. unless pure Interceptor design ( doesn’t exist?).

add yesterday's statement by German Chancellor Scholz that "Putin freed Germany from historical guilt" and the likelihood of a thermonuclear end of this world becomes not so small. Idiots in power are becoming the main problem of our time.

The VDO, its validity and who is promoting it was my issue. My point is that the images and people in the VDO could easily be Russians kitted out with the Ukraine/Azov insignia.

As far as I can see, the Azof unit still exists as a battalion, or regiment, that is widely described as being "far right". A problem is that Putin could be using this small unit as an excuse when he uses the Nazi card as a reason to invade.

That is all.

Which weapon can not be used in an offensive role?

What Stonker said is correct. Old (and outdated compared to western aircraft) are going to be supplied to the Ukraine by the west.

If Tonto Putin does not like that then tough.

He has. Germany can't be blamed for starting WW3 if Tonto starts it.

Is this Russian speaking nationalist Regiment fighting for Tonto or fighting against him?

Oh yeah. They are doing their very best to repel the Russian invaders.

Did he really say that? All we need now is another nutter.

In 2014 Obama sanctioned Venezuela over human rights abuses, mostly against various individuals, their business and assets. In 2019 Trump added oil to the list in response to what is considered the fraudulent 2018 election of Maduro (sp). Basically it was an attempt at regime change without sending in troops. It succeeded in crushing what little was left of Venezuela’s economy but of course so far failed at changing their leadership.

This "independent" journalist does seem to have a distinct bias in his videos. So do others and that is what happens during time of war especially.

I did find this article seemed to give a more balanced understanding of the issue.

I 'm not sure what you want to break down or simplify - the only options are Mig 29's or Su 25's.

It's not because they're offensive or not, or old or not, but because that's what their pilots are already trained to fly as they already have them.

It's useless giving them something they can't use.

Considering the EU just decided to allow the transfer yesterday, yes you are right none have been supplied … yet. While ground attack would be useful, lots of fat juicy targets all over the place, it’s not really what Ukraine needs. What they need is fighters to keep Russia from achieving air superiority. That in and of itself would be huge even if just in the short term.

Tyhoon's are on standby if neededStonker, they have flown to Nato basis.
