Trippier in for the Toon, who else still to come? Isak? Barbosa? Alli? Lingard? Digne? Van de Beek?

Seems like everyone moving in January is being linked to the magpies.

About 5 players from Arsenal

Maitland-Niles I’d take. They can keep the rest.

Could there be hope yet, gentlemen? Like you, @BigHewer, I wouldn't be excited by Arsenal conscripts . . . the very word 'Arsenal' for me rings 'Attitude Problem'.

Looks like Maitland-Niles is going to Roma. So we probably won’t get any of them.

Willock was great on loan, not so much now as you say.

My youngest lad, a footie addict and strong Toon fan, having moved to live in Gateshead last year, reckons the Trippier signing is an excellent start to their strengthening. Let's see what the next half-dozen games bring.

Looking at fixtures, I'd say Burnley will be rock bottom by mid-February. But they have a nice run in the last 6 or 7 games. Hard to call.

Well, Burnley have sold Chris Wood (and their Premier League status) to Newcastle. Madness.

You’re about to go into battle, and just before it starts, you give your tank to the other army. Blimey.

I think it was a release clause in his contract, He's not done to well this season only 3 goals he was hitting double figures in previous season I think 14 last year,

Could be a good signing a lot depends how Newcastle play

Newcastle 1-0 Wolves at St. James Park. Stupid BBC headline as follows:

“Newcastle beat blunt Wolves to boost survival hope”.

Surely that is meant to read:

“Newcastle beat blunt Wolves to boost Europe hope”.

😂
