Back to the kitchen, feeling fresh

My own original dish with salmon, garlic butter, shredded spicy mango, avocado, potato salad and asparagus. Yummy

Another salmon dish, this one the important thing is the sauce, 

unsalted butter

two cloves garlic

lemon juice

honey mustard

tobasco (5 drops)

salt and pepper

Marinate the salmon in the sauce for 1 hour and then bake. Serve with potato salad, avocado, cherry tomato, lettuce, sliced mango and mushroom

I wanted to cook something easy and yummy for tonight dinner. Here it’s beef black pepper stir fry with veggies ! Served with coconut rice.

It was a new taste and yummy yummy yummy!

It's 25 C and perfect here in Vancouver today 

We are having a BBQ on the beach 

 

Started preparing the food last night

My wife cooks better than most Thai restaurants we go to

 

 

Pork w/ oyster sauce

Fried eggs were perfection

I was back home 

So of course I needed to bring back all my Boston sauces/dressings back to Canada.

Ribeye Steak. Salt and Peppered, left in the fridge overnight. Pan seared on medium heat. No sauces necessary if done right

Looks great

 

Can even do it on high heat

Gets a great crisp to it

 

How much did that ribeye cost in Isaan? Out of curiosity

From the picture of the electric stovetop you should be able to tell I'm not in Thailand currently.

Makro in Udon Thani DOES have steaks, but they're overpriced so I rarely eat steak in Isaan

Yeah that's why I asked

 

I would wonder how a good piece of steak would be out there

The cuts I saw at the Makro were Autralian, thickly cut, fair amount of marbling, but they wanted about 900 baht for a cut not even as long as my hand, and I'm a fairly small guy
