I do sometimes trek around Thai National Parks, which are spectacular, in fact, i live on the edge of one of them, but navigation is never an issue as trails are normally well marked and often patrolled. News Forum - Tourism council predicts 30 million foreign tourists in Thailand this year
Given there where 11 million arrivals in 2022 (on 1 July 2022 all COVID hurdles where dropped), last months prediction of 20 million for 2023 seemed reasonably optimistic, but certainly not without the Chinese (which has yet to largly materialize), so the revision to 30 million this month just seems wishful. But let's face it, this is going to be an ongoing sage until they hit 40 million again and they can finally say Thailand is back.
