No injuries, which is great news.

Cue a flood of discount flights between Japan and Thailand, as Thai Airways cuts fares and the LCC carriers shadow them. 🎉🥳

Japanese are very risk averse flyers and this incident was widely reported in the media here today.

We will find out in due course as to who was in the wrong.

If the TG aircraft was following the correct taxiway  marking, then it's possible that the EVA flight had stopped a little too short and its tail was too close to the taxiway behind it, and obviously the alternative is that the TG aircraft was not following the taxiway marking correctly and was too close to the EVA aircraft tail.

We shall see. No pilot wants this on their record, so I can only assume that it was a genuine error.
