"Long working hours, workload, and work systems are the major reasons behind the resignations."

GOOD RIDDANCE to the lazy not willing to work for success... there is always a price to pay for success everywhere in the world in any worthwhile career job.

I don't think it's a case of being lazy

The whole resident doctor program is basically slave labor and it's not good health practice for it's patients to have exhausted doctors

The system needed/needs a change

Not saying that they should not work long hours but the hour loads they are expected to work for very little pay is ridiculous

Doctors... lawyers... salespersons... lots of others work long hours for little pay when they first start out while they are developing their skills and specialties... it's not ridiculous... it's character building.

Let me ask you a question

What does a doctor do that lawyers or salesperson do not?

It's a pretty important distinction over the other two

This is a global phenomenon. Every country is facing this issue. May be there is a better way to distribute the work load among the professionals.

It's a stupid question... has nothing to do with the dedication each person is willing to make to their career and future
