There was nothing RARE about yesterdays squall.  A thunderstorm cell large enough to cover most of the city brought the usual high wind gusts along with much needed rain.  The rain is somewhat rare, need more of it.

The global weather pattern has changed over the decades. It is either severe heat or heavy downpour. Both cases are extreme.

Rare windstorm..... someone obviously live under a rock or something. Every part of the country has been hit by high winds at some point over the past few weeks. Did they forget the typhoons sweeping across from Vietnam the other month?

Does anyone know what’s going on with the Thai bureau of meteorology website at the moment? Keep getting a message the connection is lost.

I had a similar issue a couple of days ago but by the following day it was back up and working.

Perhaps they are carrying out maintenance or upgrades?
