Can we please only have one story of subject in an article and not this linking of other incidents from the times of past? It degrades the story and loses a lot in the interim. Good to know there was a hail storm and a plane diverted and everyone is safe and got to their intended destination. That is all we need to know!

Correct, its termed a precautionary diversion/landing due to weather.
