Get your wooly jumpers ready as Bangkok and surrounding areas could hit lows of 18° Celsius next week, according to Thailand’s Meteorological Department. Between December 12-14, the Thai capital will feel cold and breezy for the first time in a long time, if the department’s predictions are correct. Thanks for the info. For me, anything below 20C is freezing.

I just looked on weather.com, I see for Udon Thani it reckons for the next ten days, at night it will be 12-19C.

Wife is all wrapped up if temps drop below 25c but needs aircon when over 28c  ... 🙄

I seem to remember that the Italian architect who designed Hua Lamphong station used the same specification of another station, the roof of which was designed to withstand four feet of snow.

If it ever snows in Bangkok I want to see it. If it becomes a normal thing as weather climate changes then we better start worrying. Thai people are the best, but cold weather sucks..

They started talking about cold weather 2 months back and said this year was going to be the chilliest in a very long time. But I am under the impression the predictions have been wrong by a lot.

My MIL is gonna die!

 

We bought a new house in May and she was dying hot in it because it had no insulation 

 

We got the insulation done and she immediately started saying she was cold 

 

Now she's really gonna be cold.  5555
