A woman staying at a hotel in Pattaya has allegedly assaulted her Indian landlord over a fine for losing her keycard, The Pattaya News reported on Saturday. The incident reportedly happened at the Honest Room Hotel in the Bang Lamung district. The woman allegedly hit the landlord, 53 year old Hitesh Shan, in the face with a metal hand sanitizer stand over the 1,000 baht fine. If the fee for replacing the key card was not posted at the desk upon check-in or part of the terms, he should also be charged for potentially taking advantage of an intoxicated guest. Not condoning the violence.......but sometimes people make a situation worse when it isn't necessary.  $1000 baht is excessive. I have worked in a hotel and keycards are remade all the time for various reasons....and never for a charge.

if you not charge people keep them for souvenirs a 1000 is a bit much but for sure there is a 1000 bath stuff in the room they have a copy of the id card must be easy to find and lock madam up
