Yes glad that Germany has started delivering 5,000 helmets to Ukraine's army. That would be very helpful to turn the tide against the Russians:

They have sent Anti-Tank and ground-to-air missiles Noble.

The VDO, its validity and who is promoting it was my issue. My point is that the images and people in the VDO could easily be Russians kitted out with the Ukraine/Azov insignia.

As far as I can see, the Azof unit still exists as a battalion, or regiment, that is widely described as being "far right". A problem is that Putin could be using this small unit as an excuse when he uses the Nazi card as a reason to invade.

That is all.

Well if it is non- combat or no combat atrocities, then irrelevant.

Although politically that unit should be disbanded now.

it's called schizophrenia if I'm not mistaken.

What? You are banging on about the Azov Battalion who are fighting Putin and you think they all have schizophrenia?

Tyhoon's are on standby if neededStonker, they have flown to Nato basis.

Not in order to be given to Ukraine.

You can't just go from one fast jet to another as if you're going from a Toyota to a Honda.

The only possibilities are Mig 29's and Su 25's as that's all NATO has that they can fly.

Ukrainian pilots cant fly those. Not trained.

You beat me to it!

He has. Germany can't be blamed for starting WW3 if Tonto starts it.

do you think that after the end of the third world war there will be someone who will talk about the culprit? you are an optimist.

yes, it takes one side.  But this does not change the FACTS stated in this video.

This is the emblem of one of the divisions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine - the Azov regiment.

This is the "Wolf Hook", the sign was used by the Nazi units of the Waffen SS, for example, the Reich division.

This symbol like many used by the Nazis in the second world war is actually an extremely old symbol that dates back to pre-Christian Germanic and Scandinavian peoples as part of their pagan religions. These symbols actually have nothing to do with the right wing and racist beliefs of fascism and Nazis. They are quite common amongst Slavic people of Norse decent like the Cossacks of western Ukraine. It is not reasonable to claim anybody using these symbols is a Nazi because the Nazis hijacked this symbolism for their own purposes. It is like claiming that the Christian crucifix is a racist symbol because the Klu Klux Klan use it as part of their symbolism.

Considering the EU just decided to allow the transfer yesterday, yes you are right none have been supplied … yet. While ground attack would be useful, lots of fat juicy targets all over the place, it’s not really what Ukraine needs. What they need is fighters to keep Russia from achieving air superiority. That in and of itself would be huge even if just in the short term.

Not EU, NATO. NATO Fighters are for NATO Airspace ONLY.
Ukrainians not trained / authorized for Western Fighters.

NATO Planes / Pilots in Ukraine Airspace risks Contact against Russian Forces. CANT Happen !

I 'm not sure what you want to break down or simplify - the only options are Mig 29's or Su 25's.

It's not because they're offensive or not, or old or not, but because that's what their pilots are already trained to fly as they already have them.

It's useless giving them something they can't use.

Yeah I get that already but you said “it’s never that simple “ when you’ve just shown it is.

What you’ve not stated though is that those aircraft are Offensive Weapons so won’t be supplied by NATO. And just imagine if any stray over into Russia , although that’s allowed as attack coming from there.

Is this Russian speaking nationalist Regiment fighting for Tonto or fighting against him?

Oh yeah. They are doing their very best to repel the Russian invaders.

Not helpful though to the cause to be wearing nazi insignia though is it ?

Who care's if he is jewish at the moment he is kicking Putin's arse.

That was not the point. People were going on about how the Ukraine is a right wing nazi cesspool but I pointed out their own leader is Jewish. They would not have voted him into power if it was a rabid hellhole of anti Semitism.

Rather late - sending is very different to receiving in the right hands, and as I pointed out it's not ideal having a fire and forget anti-aircraft system unless you can easily identify friend and foe by either aircraft type or with an IFF (Interrogator Friend or Foe) system that's operating.

The Ukrainian and Soviet armour and aircraft are effectively identical, hence the massive 'Z' s painted on the sides of the Soviet vehicles, and it's Catch-22: the more weapons you have in untrained hands, the more own goals you're going to score.

I can remember (so it's not that long ago 😕) plenty of instances of fully trained soldiers shooting up their own fast jets and vice-versa, and even a supposedly 'elite' infantry bn shooting anything that moved around them on the ground or in the air so that they were unused and unusable (no names, no de-railment).

It really isn't that simple.

Did he really say that? All we need now is another nutter.

yesterday's performance in the Bundestag. in German and English I can't find. Russian media replicate this quote. This is very bad in a country where 26 million people died from the Nazis. I hope this is a translation error and Scholz will explain everything today.

Why do you keep trying to deflect this thread?

Every one of your posts simply scatterguns nonsense while you hope some of it sticks.

In 2014 Obama sanctioned Venezuela over human rights abuses, mostly against various individuals, their business and assets. In 2019 Trump added oil to the list in response to what is considered the fraudulent 2018 election of Maduro (sp). Basically it was an attempt at regime change without sending in troops. It succeeded in crushing what little was left of Venezuela’s economy but of course so far failed at changing their leadership.

Thanks very much.

This "independent" journalist does seem to have a distinct bias in his videos. So do others and that is what happens during time of war especially.

I did find this article seemed to give a more balanced understanding of the issue.

https://jewishunpacked.com/can-ukraine-have-a-nazi-problem-with-a-jewish-president/

do you really not understand the difference between underground neo-Nazis and an organization that is part of the structure of state power?

Agreed absolutely, @Tim_Melb, but the problem is  how the symbols are perceived, not how they're intended.

Just as an example in the military, if you're told to put a 'cross' on a military vehicle in the Gulf it has to be a 'x' not a '+' or it's a major drama.

The intention doesn't matter if the damage has been done.

Which weapon can not be used in an offensive role?

What Stonker said is correct. Old (and outdated compared to western aircraft) are going to be supplied to the Ukraine by the west.

If Tonto Putin does not like that then tough.

None. even cars can be used as offensive weapons or cutlery but it’s not their obvious design purpose. That cannot be said about jet fighters….

Didn’t say Stonker incorrect ..

Supplying ANY Fighter Planes will gift Putin the PR opportunity to say Offensive Weapons being supplied by NATO … Putin would then undoubtedly escalate somehow.

Seems to be very little or no jet attack in play yet, only transports, helis & drones….. ?

If anyone is behaving like a nazi its Tonto Putin. Anyone who opposes him is either arrested or murdered. Seizing land from other nations. Threatening countries with world war and nuclear destruction.

But its all going wrong. The west and in particular NATO is now more united than ever. The war in the Ukraine is going badly wrong. His own people disagree with the illegal war in the Ukraine which he said he had no intention of invading.

So a power crazed megalomaniac liar is finally getting his comeuppance. He will be lucky to survive this alive with a life sentence. Most likely he will end up dead at the hands of his own henchmen.

schizophrenia, when you are a Jew and the president of a country in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of which there is a unit whose official emblem is the symbol of the Waffen SS.

The west has already been supplying weapons since before the shooting even started. Anti tank and anti aircraft weapons being top of the list.

We are still sending them and will not stop.

And who's side is that battalion on?

Tonto's or the Ukraines?
