Isn't that a rather smoke and mirrors way of saying 'Sinovac isn't doing particularly worse than the others except for being completely frigging useless' ?

The short term benefits of the mRNA have quickly worn off and they can't even stop a weak mutation like Omnicron.  However, the long term effects of this experimental vaccine are yet to be seen.  Keep drinking the kool aid stinker.

The long term effects, hmmm, same as your life of eating food with preservatives, colouring etc. Taking Viagra, which I expect you don't, and a multitude of other things we have been exposed too during our lives, but you worry about something that does save lives NOW. Get a grip man, thousands of folk are alive NOW, because of the vaccines you fear....

Yes, and to stay healthy I take care of what I eat and consume , I avoid things that are unhealthy

You seem to have both forgotten what you wrote which I quoted and was disagreeing with, and either completely misunderstood or be deliberately misrepresenting your own link.

No, the liar here is you. The article explicitly said that the booster jab restored the protection back to original levels. (Although this only concerned Pfizer; no mention of Moderna, maybe it wasn't part of the study.)

That's simply not true.

The "short term benefit" that wears off quickly is protection from mild symptoms.

Protection from the same variants from severe effects, hospitalization and death remain virtually the same even after six months. Protection from Omicron is then restored with a booster, although it's not known as yet how long that lasts, for obvious reasons.

This debate (to boost or not to boost) is doing my head in.

With one SV and one AZ I will opt to take a booster.

Question is should it be one more AZ or one of the MRna vaccines which come with a lot of controversy.

Or maybe, like my original vaccinations, I won't have a choice other than to take or leave what's on offer at the time.

Have you been on the wacky-baccy, as I think you're losing track of who said what - particularly what you first wrote which i commented on.

You are the one who said:

All of the existing vaccines are less efficient against omicron. The efficacy against other strains also decreases faster than estimated.

Sinovac isn't doing particularly worse than the others except for providing less efficient protection for the mass population overall.

Sorry, but that's been proven to be wrong on all counts.

I'm tempted to say utter garbage, but I won't.

You then gave a link and misrepresented it, claiming efficacy had "come down dramatically"

Back when these vaccines were introduced, the efficacy against contemporary variants was supposed to be nearly 90 %. So we have come down dramatically from those numbers.

https://www.reuters.com/business/healthcare-pharmaceuticals/significant-increase-protection-vs-omicron-mrna-boosters-study-says-2021-12-22/

which I then pointed out was completely untrue as you were misrepresenting the article:

The 55%  and 37% you refer to is protection compared to unvaxxed after two doses, not three.

Protection after a  third mRNA dose is a "significant increase in protection" of 54.6%, but compared to those who've had two doses not those unvaxxed.

That's a "significant increase" which puts three doses back near the original level when compared to the unvaxxed, so your own link shows that your claim that "Right now nothing is considered particularly effective" is completely wrong.

... and that's your own link 😂!

If you still don't get it even though I put it in bold originally, the "numbers" you're referring to after two doses were compared to unvaxxed while the numbers after three doses are compared to those with two doses. Very different.

That's your own link 😲.

..... and the article itself shows that Sinovac is far worse than the others as "In Hong Kong, another study last week found that those who had received even 3 doses of Sinovac may still not produce enough Omicron-fighting antibodies to be effective and that a booster shot of Pfizer should be administered."

Maybe you've changed your mind, maybe you didn't mean what you wrote, or maybe you're trying some of the old smoke and mirrors to cover it up, but what you wrote really was badly wrong 🥵.

Your quotes prove that I've been consistent all the time: even the "best" vaccines provide lesser protection against omicron and the protection also wears of rapidly. You have to start getting your shit together. You look dumber and dumber after each lie.

Has it ever crossed your mind the reason you may be needing the booster is that you have a weakened immune system from the experimental vaccines?

No, because I'm able to read.
