Well, I for one would rather have a mask on when someone sneezes around me. At least there is a buffer and then I can try to wipe alcohol and wash off the germs without ingesting them. They aren't a total protection solution but better than nothing. It is how you react after for taking the mask off and washing up is the real best protection.

The data is blatantly cusomised but at least the first chart shows a far higher peak of infection with no masks.

The best ways to prove or disprove whether masks make a difference on the spread of cases or hospitalizations, is

#1 - observing the trend of these cases/hospitalizations and whether the mandating of masks had any impact on the trend;

#2 - super-imposing the trends of two comparable states/regions in a country over each other when one of them imposed mask-wearing and whether that resulted in any difference in the trend of both states/regions observed.

These 'pathetic' charts do exactly that by comparing US-states with/without mask mandates, as well as looking at other countries like Germany, Israel, Japan, etc. 

These 'real world' data show that there is no or neglible impact from mask-mandates on covid-spreading or hospitalizations. 

Discussing an issue without any factual evidence that proves your point, except your gut-feeling that 'masks must work' because they provide a (leaky) barrier for the virus to be transmitted or because the flip-flopping CDC and Fauci say so, the discussion ends here...

I am surprised that somecwestern people are still OK with wearing a mask after 1-1/2 years...I do not mean go out and protest and burn sh*t but for God's sake don't defend wearing the f*cking mask still, especially outside! And what the hell are the governments doing in Australia & New Zealand??
