Thailand already attracts an enormous number of bottom feeders.  The quality of tourist will plummet further... especially but not only Chinese.

Thailand is already considered a "Sin" country. Legalizing casino is a good move

Just read a story in the Phuket News reporting that the guy in charge of the House committee studying the concept is comparing Thailand to Singapore, which has a quite successful "comprehensive entertainment complex" model.

While it's successful in Singapore, the greatest difference is that Singapore is pretty much a rule-of-law country, while Thailand is pretty much a corruption-is-endemic country.
