It surely is all about productivity that makes an economy grow. The situation with the flooding needs to be addressed and the donation from the World Bank will be most welcome as long as the sticky finger brigade are kept at bay. Back to the economy, incentivise the boys and girls who work hard for often a pittance. Increase the provision for the retired, it needs more than a bag of rice to sustain the elderly. And finally, look at the gravy train that so many seem to climb aboard. Profit is not a dirty word but let everyone profit from it. Thailand has so much more to offer and try and make it outside of Bangkok, the entire country needs that boost. Take a trillion dollars and build infrastructure across the country, what has gone on in the past is finished. The new broom needs to be bold, you get one chance in life, let those remember you for being great.

A huge problem in Thailand is the blatant corruption & cronyism, if they cannot put a stop to these type of everyday occurrences  and enforce the laws that should apply to everyone then they have no chance.
