News Forum - Holiday horror: Australian teen killed in Thai motorbike crash
Another young life ended early by doing something that was entirely avoidable not the first and won't be the last Falang thinking they're Top Gun Maverick riding around in Thailand wearing no helmet. -

I feel sorry for his parents and friends, but not a lot. As the Universe teaches people - FAFO. Riding fast on a bike with no helmet or other protection, probably without have a bike licence/experience, is called FA - and sadly this young man FO - and then he was gone. Hope this story is plastered all over the media in Australia and every country - but it wont - TAT and Thai Govt will ensure that does not happen.- 1

News Forum - Shaky ground: Thailand in world’s top 60 earthquake-hit countries
Those without big cracks - definitely it will soon be a good time to buy - meaning to make some very low offers and get a bargain. This will only accelerate the decline in Condo prices. The Thai economy IMO is hanging on and they are doing what they always have done (since 1990s crash) - dont address the underlying issues and fix things, just wait it out and things will turn around. 2022 - tourism will do it (bugger that did not work out). OK then - 2025 - lets build casinos. IMO this year the pricing of many things will start to fall/crash in Thailand, and that will be the time for people with cash to get some serious bargains. You cannot keep a business going with tons of employees standing around all day doing Facebook while very few customers are coming in. I understand that the boss/es are getting a cut of every worker salary being paid on the books, but there are only so many times the bank will agree to extend. The public service might be able to do that for a long time, but in business you eventually have to make a profit. -

News Forum - Bangkok motor show sees 29% rise in car reservations
Agree about the loans needed - but the banks have tightened up and are not giving loans out like they used to. But besides that, the whole story is total utter BS - the Thai car industry has been crashing for almost 2 years. This is a BS PR story written by the corrupted ignorant Thai car association and companies - to me it sounds like a song being played on the deck of the Titanic. -
