Apparently the guy was highly thought of as a doctor. He could cure everything from AIDS to Bubonic plague by simply hitting you on the head with a wet cabbage leaf while shouting "The power of Dr Spock compels you"!

Never tried him myself although I was considering it given I get recurrent bouts of athletes foot. Which is the most inappropriate name for any condition given my lifestyle. It's like "tennis elbow" or "golf nuts".

TBH I'm reminded of a cardiologist who was found, after his retirement, to be a fraud. Or was he? If he'd never lost a patient, surely he was a good doctor
