A difficult week for King Charles III promises to become even more troublesome for the new monarch. The 73 year old has made several public appearances since his mother Queen Elizabeth II died and looked irritable and angry on each occasion. On Saturday he was caught growling at a royal aide because of a messy desk just before he signed the declaration on becoming King while on Monday he visibly lost his temper when a pen began to leak at a signing ceremony at Northern Ireland’s Hillsborough Castle. The new King’s reign doesn’t look to become any easier and faces […]

The story King Charles III sacks 100 staff & employs brother, Prince Andrew as seen on Thaiger News.

Obviously no loyal and valued friendships with the staff.

Might be a few more secrets from behind previously closed doors coming out about the good King and his consort.  If they do, he only has to look into a mirror to find the one to blame.

"The Duke of York settled out of court for £12 million and then resigned from public roles in May 2020 while his honorary military affiliations and royal charitable patronages were removed by the Queen in January 2022.

Andrew remains stripped of his military patronages and unable to use the HRH title, but he is being lined up as one of King Charles III’s five Counsellors of State. In essence, this means his younger brother stands in for the King when he is unwell."

Unbelievable stupidity.

The British Monarchy is sailing into some serious headwinds as it is, and Chuckie-Boy appoints Randy-Andy as a Counsellor of State.

Apologies to my British friends but after seeing this, I can't maintain my veneer of politeness any longer. Some things/people merit the dustbin of history and these two are prime candidates.

Why settle if there is no wrong doing?

Absolute rubbish, he looked solemn and distressed on each occasion.   That sentence is nonsense.  As for him being irritable when a an official pen leaked on his hand; I would have been a damn sight more irritable than he was.  That was unacceptable for a new King who has just lost hos mother to deal with.   His staff were clearly muppets.

Why should there be?  He is quite rightly  slimming down the Monarchy, so staff have to go, just like in any business when it slims down.  They are not entitled to a job for life.

Don't get twisted about the arcane ways of royalty. When a king or queen dies everybody in the succession moves up one.Andrew is still "in line to the throne" .Come the revolution.

Technically yes, as he was born a Prince, however he is only 8th in line.

Come a revolution ..... Andrew would likely be first to be burn't at the stake. 🙂

I am Australian so that makes me a subject of the Commonwealth but I believe that there is no longer a need for Australia to be tied to the British monarchy.

The more foolish decisions made like this one will only reinforce my opinion as I'm sure it will do for many others as well.

I've been wondering what the advantages are for nations to be part of the British Commonwealth these days.

One negative recently came to light.  Barbados voted to legalize Cannabis, but since they are part of the Commonwealth they have to have new laws royally something and England said no.

Why would countries want to be part of this out-dated mode of government?
How much money do these countries pay to UK for their special privilege?

I don’t care if he is your brother - you can’t have a pedophile around the monarchy! Your mother knew it. Clearly you don’t! Which is why you will never be her. Even after decades of grooming you start off with very bad decisions you will regret.

The grand old Duke of York

He had 12 million quid

He gave it to a woman he'd never met

For something he never did.

No family in the world should have a staff of 100 unless they pay them with the money they earned.  No family should live in a palace unless they pay property tax on it and earned the money to purchase it through working.

Monarchy is 1200 years of scamming taxpayers because they can.

Akin to the Vatican, where somehow preaching the fables of the bible and god has resulted in their receiving  4-10 billion dollars of net worth from their "followers"

No he was not a pedophile.  In the United States, the most common age of consent is 16, which is a common age of consent in most other Western countries.  Germany is 14 years of age

Yes in England age of consent is 18, yet this girl/sex slave of Epstein and trafficked to Andrew was not British she was American/Australian .  So yes, if she was in England, she would be under age at 17

Andrew was charged with sexual abuse....basically rape, which is horrific as well, but no conviction

Think Prince charming is lacking in respect for the people who looked after his pompous needs.

He shows no respect for their tenure in life (employment) but finds /creates a job for his brother who shouldn't be allowed within miles of anything royal.

So does Chucky condone the suspect history of his brother?  Maybe he has similar "odd"  tendencies, Princess Diana said "there was 3 in the marriage"

As for trimming the staff, most would try to relocate them to other areas, use natural attrition and offer respectful redundancies.

There's a potential paternity suit looming from man in Australia who claims to be the love-child of Charles and Camilla, born well before Diana was out of kindergarten.   The story offers some compelling hearsay evidence.

A very socialist ideal, which I do not subscribe to.

He comes off as a bizarre jerk(weirdo) who can't function outside his weird Royal Family cocoon

Sad, you seem to have no respect for others.

On the contrary, I do, but not for expecting others to pay me to do nothing, or cover up my own inadequacies, or throw benefit money at me to sit on my ass doing nothing, or expect my company to act like a charity and keep me in a job that no longer exists, these are all very socialist  principles for which I have no sympathy at all.  I respect those who go through life and make their own way and not expect others to make it for them.

Could you operate as effectively as he is doing right now in his world, at this time, having lost both parents within 12 months,  I doubt any of us on here could. We are all the product of our own environment, upbringing, education and training, he is clearly doing his best and  so far, he is making a good fist of it
