I know that this is not too helpful, but it may give you a lead.  There is a farang chap in Bang Saray who is locally know as The Parrot Man. Apparently he  keeps  many parrots and breeds them.  I will ask around and if I get more info I will PM you.

There's a large pet store in Ban Chang. On Suk coming from Sattahip turn left Soi 21 and it's on the left, can't miss it. They have a big selection of parrots.
