Bruce does a pretty good rendition, but I think I still prefer the Aussie band singing the original.

Volume warning for headphones, and then listen 2 times to Bruce, sounds awesome.👍

The best part of this thread is that members are introducing us all to new Music, I could envisage a get together of us all playing an album one at a time and a bunch of guys dancing to their Music while the others indulge in a Dr Leo.👍

In which case I’d be firmly entrenched in the Dr. Leo indulgence faction.

One of Gregg Allman's best songs IMO .  Frank Zappa covering the song amazed me first time I heard

Are you kidding? The first time hearing both one after the other, for me. The Original Zapper is hypnotic👍

Close your eyes and put on the headphones. Both are fantastic listening.👍

I’ll raise you on that one. The Sundays’ cover version best for mine.

Not bad, but still the 4th best version of Wild Horses on this thread, IMHO. 😎

Can’t find Jimmy’s version, but I’m sure it’s a good’un.

Last Train To Clarksville.

What an awesome, poignant song that reflected that dreadful, dreadful war.

"and I don't know if I'm ever coming home"

Thank you.

OK this is from 1971 The Velvet Undergound. One of the finest bands out there but this version is a remastered version but good grief the song is incredible.

But gentlemen let me introduce you to a band you have never heard of singing this live.

Its starts slow but please watch to the end for some of the finest slide guitar playing you will ever hear.

From a Prog Rock point of view, then....

Or,

I prefer the latter. The classic Yes lineup of Anderson, Bruford, Howe, Squire and Wakemen.
