Bringing religion into the discussion...?

🤓

Made a decision based on what others said, not experience.

Used “ gospel” as slang indicating hard truth not in any religious sense ! 😛

My last post:

Here is a handy guide website  if you ever wanted to visit PH.. This came from the Department of Tourism. This is idiot-proof.

post is clear enough. opinion here might be hearsay to some or evidence to others, I. e. people who perhaps trust the posts to some degree. we are not in a court of law  categorizing “hearsay “ or “evidence”.

The opinion of someone that has never been is worth as much as used toilet paper in America.

Newsflash: Random stranger on t'internet says Philippines is a dump.

And it isn’t ? that’s an opinion based on experience. your take is clearly different. But you don’t deny the statement …..😌

Merely your simplistic misguided crude opinion. Don’t need to go to the North Pole to conclude the sunbathing isn’t very good ….or to India to deduce the extreme poverty ……

I have been to Phil and my opinion is it’s a chaotic stressful dump….. but that’s easily also determined online by elemental impartial research …..

About the last source people should check ….. do some widespread impartial research .

Well beats the public library I suppose …..one might start with Wikipedia and then on to the various wiki source References…or TT Phil Forum even 😎😉

Consult with someone you trust who’s been there even 😩but not with biased sources like national tourist boards or resorts 😂

Read That & Other Related Articles. Highly Complex Subject.Head Spinning.😩

Wikipedia suits me as it is “sufficiently” reliable for my needs & one stop shop. Brittanica is more reliable & less biased but that’s because it’s articles are far shorter. Suppose I would use multiple specialist sources if I had the time or writing a doctoral thesis ! 😉

Just a quick addition to this one. On Friday the 4th of February the Philippines Government, in reaction to the cost being born by Filipino Health Insurance companies for Covid Claims, added a requirement for Tourists to be able to prove that they had a Covid insurance policy with a minimum of US$35,000 cover for hospitalisation and treatment while in the country. This has effectively ruled out travel to the Philippines from the United States because the US recently upgraded the Philippines to level 4 on the travel warning scale which makes it next to impossible for Americans to buy insurance for travel to the Philippines.
