Corrected - that was part of the quiz to spot the deliberate error and you're the only one to spot it  🙄

Are there any Americans on here going to back me up on spelling? I’m guessing not 🙁

I would also like to emphasize (or is it safer to write ‘point out’?) that US spelling appears in the wording of all the quizzes so far… 😁

Ummm why of course I will. You are 100% correct for writing color and no one should question it. When in France write it like couleur and all others can write colour per your lineage of nationality and how taught. And now I am going to retyre the issue and go eat a potatoe. : )

As a Brit who worked for an American company for 32 years i am accustomed to the nuances encountered with an Anglo-American audience.

I suspect it will not happen again unless we have quizzes about:

Aluminium

Neighbours

Torches

Pants

Flavours

Odours

or

Rumours

Not sure if I will be still around then, if the Covid hasn’t got me booster number 11 will probably finish me off !! ………… but that’s better off discussed elsewhere 😬

I just checked my calendar, and if we continue with the Wednesday and Saturday postings, Quiz #783 is due out on the morning of July 19th, 2036. 🤔
