No provinces will be under a mandated nightly curfew starting December 1. The CCSA approved new zoning today, reclassifying several provinces on its colour-coded zoning scale based on Covid-19 infection rates and reopening measures. Under the revised zoning, there are no provinces classified as “dark red” with stay-at-home orders. Kanchanaburi, Nonthaburi, and Pathum Thani were reclassified as “blue zones,” or pilot tourism areas, which are reopened to travellers entering the country from overseas. Red zones Khon Kaen, Chanthaburi, Chumphon, Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai, Trang, Trat, Tak, Nakhon Ratchasima, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Narathiwat, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Prachinburi, Pattani, Ayutthaya, Phatthalung, Yala, […]

Good to see the removal of curfews but in reality there was little choice if they want to attract real tourism. Next they need to work on the arrival restrictions further as they are still putting tourists off coming to Thailand compared to other Asian countries

All the zoning is such a nonsense as it does not make sense at all from the beginning sandbox where no red zones but had the most infections.. etc. Unreliable and nonsense.. I ignore this nonsense completely

Isn't Thailand one of the countries that ahead in opening up to tourism from other Asian Countries?

More than half the current "tourists" arriving are Thais and expats with family here. I think the covid insurance (which doesn't pay out) and other costly requirements must be a consideration when looking at a holiday here or in a nearby country where the additional costs on top of the actual holiday are less that's just my view as a 2 week beach holiday is much the same which ever beach they sit on.
