Should Maya Bay reopen? Of course it probably will, at the start of 2022. But there are fears that, despite the best intentions, it will be back to mass tourism and ‘market forces rule’. The bay may have been closed, for boats, the beach never was: They simple walked from Losama Bay to Maya Bay.

So what are we talking about, here? No tourists, no visitors, more tourists, more visitors, same old, same old
