I tend to agree with the Professor on this one.

Tweaking the language within the statute appears warranted as a number of younger adults in particular appear to be misinterpreting the scope of the existing law's framework.

Additionally, it would be wise to implement a national re-education program to ensure everyone is brought up to speed with the changes so no one is unknowingly caught off guard.

Taboo topic that it is but after reading the book about King Rama IX's life, this topic was asked about.

The late King himself was concerned about the law itself in that of the cases registered and deemed Lesse Majeste over 95% were irrelevant and automatically dismissed. People in authority can arrest one in suspicion but it is upto the monarch to cast judgement.

Dr. Arnond has done the right thing asking for clarity.
