He is not winging about prices. He replied to my post, that was about third party agencies offering cheap flights that are basically just a come on,with zero accountability. Both of us do actually "pay the price" and buy direct from the airlines. In my case EVA from Amsterdam.I have just checked for December and the ticket that suits me is close to €1200 that's double what I paid pre COVID.So stop whinging about posts you don't understand. -

News Forum - Koh Samui booms as over 200,000 tourists visit the popular island in January
I went for the first time this past October and it was still dead which made for a nice stay. I enjoyed my ten days there. I get the appeal of Samui, but I doubt I'll ever return with so many other beach options in Thailand that are much cheaper, Samui doesn't make sense for me. -

News Forum - Five US police officers charged with murder over fatal beating of black man
Yes but I don't know if you can call that racism..... I mentioned to @longwood50 about spending time in the black community and how much tension there is between the community and police So even if the police would possibly treat a white person better because of that constant tension w/ the black community, isn't that just due to the result of the tension and not race I worked in all the projects and ghettos in Brooklyn when I got out of University before starting my career I have to be completely honest, it was a great paying job but I quit because I couldn't deal with working in those neighborhoods...... It really wore me down dealing with a lot of people there and I was only delivering refrigirators! I said it at the time, I would never be a cop in those neighborhoods So I think it's more the daily grind/tension than actual racism
