And all that despite Red Bull's devious ways.

Verstappen gets a fine for hands on the rear wing of the Mercedes of Lewis.

Lewis gets disqualified for a defective rear wing figure that. Redbull had the same technical infringement and got told to fix it no penalty needed.

Verstappen clearly runs Lewis of the track at turn 4, no investigation required say the stewards.

So Mercedes are fighting 2 teams for the title Redbull and the race stewards.

Come on Lewis...

Goes back to the days of 2008/2009 when Lewis was being consistently penalised and some people considered it was the FIA being prejudiced because he was black. This time round is it Red Bull bribing people, after all it runs in the family ? Firstly the late rule change  that disadvantaged Mercedes and Aston Martin. Then some dubious decisions of which this weekend saw the worst of them. Do they have a very well paid mole in the Mercedes garage even ?

Fi as a sport is a joke, when you have to keep checking up each day to see if the Stewards and the FIA have penalized the winner after the race or qualifying is well and truly over. No other sport acts in that way and its just pathetic.

Agreed. Really gone downhill last 15 years and more so since the Americans bought into it. Guess that was a sure fire guarantee what was once a motor racing spectacle would be turned into yet another Mickey Mouse attraction.

Part of the enjoyment never knowing what the outcome will be, as you said even after the race things can change.

Next year with Lewis and George partnering it should prove an unbeatable line up. But nothing is certain in F1 just look forward to watching Verstappen throw his teddy out....

Now I think George Russel has the talent to give Lewis a very hard time without the shenanigans that Max and Red Bull have to get up to.

Agree he is certainly a brilliant talent behind the wheel he proved that with his stand in drive for Lewis. He was unlucky on the day or victory would have been his.
