Hello, do you have news about how to apply for a Visa to South Korea?

I went in person and it was closed. So before going again, I am trying to be more organised.

After some search, I found out that the web site of the Embassy of Korea in Thailand is only in Korean language. With Google Translate one learns:

So one has got to book in advance at the following instructions:

The instructions are inside a PDF that you can download from the page above.

Basically the instructions say: you must first book, online, an appointment, using this web site, which is in English:

After registering and going through some pain, finally there is a calendar for the booking. ...But, of course, there are no available places... ever...

So, back to start.

Any insights? Any of you went to Korea in the past? I know that things might have changed, but to get an idea of the process....

Thank you. I tried after you suggested. There is only an automated message saying that they do not provide info by phone and to go to the web site. They also say press button x to speak to a human, but then there is a message saying that there is nobody to take the call.

 

If someone, from the future, reads this post and knows something about traveling to South Korea, please let me know. Thank you.

Korea is wide open now. You have to get your travel visa free pre-approved by the K-ETA app
