Inviting Guests to the Kingdom of Thailand?

‎Was wondering why the Thai Government as well as Thai business associations are not reffering to "potential guests" or "valued dear guests" when they mention words as "luring tourists" , "luring foreigners" while making projections of a potential financial turnover in millions of baht with dual pricing, insurrance obligations, extensive visa regulations. Does this attract people who wish to go on a beautifull holiday? Or is this only for the people who are bonded to Thailand by family ties and are made feeling welcome by this? This gets me wondering more every day as this is getting more and more stronger communicated in the media?                          Just wondering here.... as Thailand is a truelly a wonderfull country. ‎

'valued dear guests" "luring here there and everywhere" sounds like a bar girl but the Govt want the same end result.

They are inviting your money not you, come leave all your money then go.

Probably why they keep moving the goal posts for retirees, living too long or will not leave voluntarily.

See your issue with the word "luring".  Perhaps " Conning" would be appropriate do you think ?

Don't all tourist destinations do that?  It is the nature of most holiday travel.
