It would be good to see all the relevent information reported, likely the daily testing numbers

I think its generally excepted that testing numbers having always being low have fallen even lower. It was the cheapest and quickest way to show a reduction in covid cases.

They can't even get the number of deaths right, when there are 3 bodies in sight and only 2 are reported.

First we looked at case numbers

Then we looked at deaths

Now we need to see vaccination numbers go up

Fast and high

Twins only count as one person.

Not in a restaurant they don't 🤣

Apparently so as they are the only thing fun that is open, but soon to be closed for only take outs.

You said twins count as one. But not when you get the bill in a restaurant 😉

I tend to agree but we would expect to see the death rate remain high or even climb

Hey, look at this guys, there's some keys on the right side of the keyboard with numerical symbols on them... if you depress them, strings of characters like this come out:

7756478493 39383873 3 93939 33 28273448484849 0405095959 001 44847575 5955858585 5595050 30382 303 3838485 585 5958585 3921

PLEASE, do NOT share this with the CV19 authorities, they might abuse this trick by issuing a series of numbers that support their agenda.. Dangerous stuff.

They'll have to find the keyboard first 😉

Now be concerned …. I had to double check the date ….

A prison in Muang district is being converted into a field hospital after 1,195 of the inmates tested positive for Covid-19 infection.

Though this is not in Phuket maybe it’s the next step for Hospital beds in Phuket as they are already using an old decommissioned prison.

The resident doomers are disappointed the easing of restrictions did not bring Armageddon, did not even cause any kind of rise in the number of cases or deaths. Epidemic is gonna epidemic until the wave exhausts itself. These lockdown measures just emptied a lot more Thai wallets and were useless against the virus.

Anyway, thanks to the Thai government for not going all mad bonkers like Australia or New Zealand. This was only semi-stupid but not full deep end stupid like in those two countries.

In this Stupidity Olympics Thailand can be proud of not being in the TOP-20.

Numbers in Chiang Mai were receding to almost less than 30, a week ago. I noticed they have stopped road checks coming into Chiang Mai now. Surprise surprise  we are now well over 100 new cases a day.

I thought they stopped as well, but @HolyCowCmsaid he saw them...

But sure thing, people are moving and lots of BKK cars here for the weekend again. It won't end well... They should have vaccinated a lot more before allowing people to spread the virus.

Exactly. 14 day hotel quarantine in both directions, umpteen PCR tests in each direction. You’d have to be desperate to go through all that just to see your tee-rak and she’s probably been stolen by a long term ex-pat by now anyway 🤣🤣🤣
