My missus has been cooking for over 50 years started at the age of 6 helping out her mum in the family restaurant. Since lockdown she has majored in farang food and mastering sourdough.

A Mexican feast. I cook this about once a month. I never ate Mexican food until I’m 30 years old, but since then, I try to learn many dishes. Yummy!

And okay, this is not food, but very popular in Indonesia, called “Jus Alpukat”. It’s blended avocado with chocolate sauce and ice. Super nice on a hot day!

What about salads everyone? I like to try the different flavors and make something new.

Tomato, avocado, chilis, jalapeno peppers, sour cream, corn, seaweed and limes. With just a little minced beef. Yummy!

You hardly need a cooker of any kind for salads!   LOL.

Have been reading through all of the input. I am jealous of those that can handle chillie. Unfortunately I am one of those who despite many attempts  can not! I immediately lose all sense of taste and experience levels of pain in a ratio equivalent to content. Even the waft of fumes from street stalls has me choking and coughing. My wife can chew on the best of the best jalapeno's and describe the flavor with tears in her eyes ! I can however handle copious amounts of fresh or ground pepper and a moderate heat level curry. Massaman is an ideal.

So I appreciate the presentation of the more (sane) dishes that avoid chillies or those that would usually have the expectation of applying chilli sauce in liberal amounts.

Am I alone?

You seem to like a lot of different type of ethnic foods,  how did you start to like them so much?

Nice proper pizza pan also!

Looks great! What did you cook it on? Oven, grill?

That one in the oven on highest setting. Have done on the charcoal grill as well. The real key is the pizza steel from Nerd Chef (3/8", 28lb). About 4 minutes in the oven, 2-3 minutes on the grill as it gets hotter. As close as I can get without a real pizza oven. I'm too cheap a charlie to spend 300,000.00+ Baht on one.
