Just out of curiosity , are you here in Thailand because you really like Thailand or is it because you cannot survive in the West and needed to find somewhere else to live  ?

Very good question. Interesting.

I guess maybe for “love”.

What a strange comment, if you have to pay bribes that is up to you, please do not include members here into your bribery problems....😬

No problems for me I actually get out and enjoy my life not just look for arguments on forums.

Getting way off-topic here and into personality clashes which are not permitted.  Posts removed and perpetrators warned to re-read the FG's.

Be nice, life is short.

You ever pay under the table in Thailand before Kaptain?

Not corruption, for VIP express service.

Staying on the topic of corrupt Immigration officials.
No, I have personally never allowed the situation to arise where 'tea money' has been requested from an Immigration officer. If you know and meet the requirements and have your documents in order, then your not exposing yourself to corruption.

I have never paid more than the stated fee.

There is no official VIP service offered by Immigration.
