Guess those printed T shirts are better than one saying "I have had a dose" or "2 pricks did me no harm"

Just wait till I tell them, I got my dose in Thailand.

Now as all of the Issan bar girls have gone back home, it is impossible to get a dose of any kind in Thailand at the moment.

Catch 22.

Open the bars and restaurants then you'll get everyone going from surrounding areas and Bangkok, and no effective way of keeping them out, and Covid cases escalating.

Keep them closed, and you've got for tourists apart from mediocre beaches.

Very few tourists want to go to Thailand at the moment, it is on the red list.

I am one of them and I know many others two who feel the same way.

Open up the bars and restaurants and it will be even deeper into the red zone.

There is no magic formula for Thailand as there was not one for the rest of the world, the only way to do it is shut down, vaccinate the masses and then reopen.

Flip flopping between closing down, re-opening, then closing down will not work on its own.

Actually in HH is very easy to see jelly fish on the beach. My last time was around New Years and they were all over the beach. Also got minorly hit by one that made a welt on my side then too. The garbage was another sore point.

guess id rather peel off a plastic bag rather than a jelly fish if I had to choose between the two----yuk...

Yeah, left a word to be found about being in a tropical water but having those elements around you. And I kid you not as I counted in seconds for the next piece of garbage that was right there. As for jelly fish, it seems they go through different periods of when and where they turn up. But even a small scrape sting is not nice.

There are many farang retirees, annual snowbirds and more younger families settling in Hua Hin. We have a good choice of restaurants, two reasonable beaches very popular for walks, and a lively expat community. Plus many excellent golf courses. http://www.bangkok.com/huahin/attractions/top-ten.htm

Hus Hin airport would get good throughput from farang and visiting Thais alike.

I agree. HH airport would be very well utilized and would be a very practical option for many folks. So, let us see if the adults in the room can actually implement something useful and practical, for a change.

It would, if they could make a firm decision and stick with it.
