No one who is non Taliban is going to have a good time there, and even the Taliban are going to have their internal tribe struggles. Below black highlighted statement is scary and shows you what they actually think. Funny thing is China wants to control the world and the Islam-ers want the same. Never gonna work.

Quote from article: The commander, who gave his name only as Nisar, said he had joined the insurgents some 18 years ago.  “We are happy that we are victorious. We fought for 20 years. We want Islamic law, and not just in Afghanistan.”

Refusing to speak English

He revealed he could speak excellent English, but then refused to do so, saying he did not want to speak the language used by the invaders. “I won't speak English with you because I don't like it,” he told the Telegraph.

It seemed rather friendly , hardly a "chilling warning "

he told The Telegraph. “We want to have good relations with all the rest of the world. We want to work with foreigners and have good relations.”

It sounds good until it gets to:
"We want Islamic law, and not just in Afghanistan."

Are they going to do that via diplomacy and 'good relations' in non-Islamic countries?

But they dont suggest that they intend to take any action to further their "want" .

But let's hope the Chinese don't teach them the Chinese 101 way of how to secretly do and screw things.

Yes, sounds like America with it's undying dedication to 'dimocracy' doesn't it?

Odd that.

Well Fluke, they wouldn't would they?

The Taliban is going to appear all nicey- nicey to get money.

Then, we'll see what happens...

Btw, were all the Drones shipped out, or did they leave 'em stacked up with the helicopters?

The word 'drones' seems quite appropriate, considering the way the Taliban waffle on relentlessly.

Wonder how the Taliban are going to square the Uiger repression circle with China. They're desperate for resources as 75% of the Afghan budget was from foreign aid. And the Chinese Muslim area is just to their east. Do they take the Belt and Road money and look the other way, or are they not hypocritical butt-heads and walk their talk?

They'll square it quite easily, as there isnt anything untoward going on with Uighers apart from the separatists who get 'frowned upon' quite severely.

It's a Turkish problem more than anything, as evidenced by the Uigher cell that blew up the Erewan Shrine back in 2015. Of course the Americans didnt help by giving the East Turkistan lot a free pass, but thats only to be expected when you take their deeds to date into consideration.

I think now it doesn't really look good for them as why would the Taliban really care about a few to several thousand when they really care about China's money for the time being. The will appease the CCP for the first start. I would think they are in serious trouble and the men and women who don't want to get sent back to China will need to move quickly to one of the other accepting tribes. Eventually there will be a civil war or inter fighting there, so they can't count on safety from the Taliban and they can't count on safety over the border with the CCP, so not too many options. Have to wait and see, but probably won't be long.
