If I were him I'd quote Prawit

" I'm looking after them for 13 dead buddies " ..

C'mon.. You seriously believe he can afford all that" Bling Bling" on a police chiefs salary, shake downs and drug money dude ! The dude fled the country the minute the video went public. Not surprising being that Pryut's administration allows drug dealers in his administration ( Thammanat Pomprao) " ya think" !!!!

You can't publicly amass that much unless you are clearly not worried about getting in trouble. The level of unaccountability throughout the system must be unmeasurable.

Follow the Money! To many eyes have been shut to corruption. Maybe it should be mandatory to audit those in high positions periodically. It is common sense this has been going on for a very long time. Happy Season 3 GIF by The Simpsons

According to the BBC The Thai police are now looking for him !!  Well we all know people can be responsible for murder here and nothing happens. Whilst this guy is just demonstrative of the widespread corruption in the state sponsored RTP should we take bets he "not gets found ?

Murder in Thailand can simply be bought off, culprits escaped or even convict innocent men so the perpetrators remain free.

True. Has someone checked the prime minister's office to see if this policeman has just become a 'special advisor'?

Laughable, thats what it is, Thai police are looking for him, ha, ha.

If they try as hard to find him, as they did to find Red bull heir, he will never be found.

Also many of his bosses will not want him found, in case he spills the beans on their corrupt activities.

I certainly wouldn't expect anything to come of it.

Swept under the rug comes to mind.

Already there's a link to the two. The policeman owns a Ferrari, The Red Bull family own the Ferrari dealership.
I wonder if there's a discount available depending on the number of deaths you've been involved in?
Keep it in the family.

Many are now questioning how the police station superintendent has afforded such a lavish lifestyle with a massive compound, luxurious house, and fleet of very expensive cars.

A report I heard today was from his ex girlfriend saying, he had over 250 million in cash! because he didn't trust banks.. with all of his assets and this alleged 250m it certainly wasn't from tea Money. He was supposedly good at stopping drugs from entering the country.. its more likely he was part of the cartel to amass that amount of assets.. maybe threw in the odd bust of drugs and while they waving flags and a photo op pointing at the drugs seized 10 x  that will come in at the same time but a different area. He no doubt will not be alone in his work its how many they actually can bring down before he actually really goes missing!...Only my thoughts but again this is not from tea miney

Why is that street in front of his house so dirty?! He has staff walking around to use the pressure washer. That's what you get when the boss is not at home, the staff is getting lazy.

Amazing Thailand, just goes to show that the police force is rotten to the core. This guy didnt accumulate all that wealth over night, this would have been going on for a decade or more, and nobody twigged.

Not nobody twigged. Nobody said anything, they didn't want to be the next victim.

Don't be silly "no one twigged".  No need to as utter corruption is part of Thai elite culture, they are all at it right up to the very top. It is not a matter of no one noticing it, it would be only noticeable  if no one was doing it. Get the Chinese in to sort this lot out and they would pay for their own bullet to.

No government can have any credibility when they have convicted drug courier (or was that just flour) and a man with so many good friends (maybe a code for extortion victim) that they give their expensive watches to him for safekeeping, within their ranks

Maybe an audit should be conducted on all Police on their private wealth and where it came from so as to restore faith in the force.  I believe all Police Forces in the world should be subjected to the same as with Politicians
