Thailand’s PM says some Covid-19 restrictions may be relaxed from next month, if the infection rate starts to come down. Until then, he says everyone should strictly adhere to the rules, thereby making the restrictions more effective and reducing the number of new cases and fatalities. Prayut Chan-o-cha was addressing the nation via his Facebook page, according to a Bangkok Post report. In his statement, he maintains that, despite daily new cases surpassing the 20,000 mark, there are still signs that the infection rate is decreasing. He points out that the number of recovered Covid-19 patients has surpassed the number […]

Governments should realize that using the same tactics parents use to get their kids to do something only works up until they become teenagers.

He didn't say what this heading says, so please stop spreading fake news. As much as i don't have respect for PM, his words as stated in the article were:

“If the lockdown is enforced more efficiently, we may be able to survive the peak of the infection curve expected by the end of this month, and infections are expected to slow down next month. Then we can ease curbs on some activities and businesses.”

For those who wonder what the world view could be like for somebody who has their head up their ass, Dear Leader is here to graciously share his experience on a daily basis.

Despite the guy being a complete tool what he is saying is correct surely - if everyone pulls together, acts responsibly and doesn't act like petulant children to flout the rules that must surely help right ?

Also good news that more people are recovering - that will get even better as the vaccine rollout increases (IF it increases before I'm shot at!). Don't lose sight of that golden day in the future when we can all stumble out of a bar, barely knowing our own name, with someone whos skirt is smaller than your handkerchief, who weeps quietly as she's/he's led to The Ibis, and remember it was all a bad dream !

One team people !

Everyone actually thinks the fastest way for Thailand to get better and have a better chance of battling the CV-19 and its variants are for him and his cronies and everyone they support to all get out and go far far away.

He himself is now spreading fake news and giving out false hope suggesting some restrictions may be lifted. Today's figures are still 20,000 plus new cases so there still not falling. You cannot predict what the figures are next week let alone next month. Even if Thailand had enough reliable vaccine's the figures would still be high until 50-60 % are inoculated double dosed. He hasn't yet seen 10 % inoculated so to me looking at todays figures Peanut is spreading fake news.

I would not believe a word that this unelected PM says, he also said there would be no coup 7 years ago, yet him and his Junta are still running the country after taking it by force.

He also threatened anyone going up against him in the last rigged election so why should we believe anyone in his party say's. One defining moment says it all, the Governor of Phuket told everyone " If Covid numbers Rise over 90 he will close the Sandbox " look at today's figures for rising infections for Phuket , and we are supposed to believe what there pumping out.
