During the 1982 Falklands War - a ten-week undeclared war between Argentina and the United Kingdom over two British dependent territories in the South Atlantic - some loonies in the UK actually proposed to 'Nuke Buenos Aires' And note that then PM Margaret THATCHER threatened to nuke the Argentina capital unless France handed over information that would allow the UK to disable Argentina's Exocet missiles. -

Are the interests of AT&T and Coca Cola, regarding Kissinger's Chilean policy, the interests of the USA? If so, how? In what other way would Chile represent a vital national interest (or threat) to the USA? Aside from Chile, what other specific examples stand out for you showing that Kissinger defended and promoted the interests of the USA?
