Really!  Are the Thais so oblivious  that they think Joe Biden gave them the Vaccine?  When America  donates,  it's the American  people, not Joe Biden that are donating. Thank the country not the countries  leader.  When Japan the UK or any country donates its the citizens  of that country  that are donating,  not the countries leaders.  Are they that naive?

Like every other topic stream on a forum...it goes from the original topic (vaccine donations) to off topic opinionated garbage. To the point where people click on the subject thinking they might read some interesting opinion about a subject, to finding nonsense that has nothing to do with the original topic. So similar to the American political mess we find ourselves in today. Stop being part of the problem. We converse so we can share our thoughts and hopefully bend them slightly or significantly in one another's direction. This is how we find common ground and progress as a people. Give it a try sometime.

Red tape did not have to lifted so the vaccines would be prevented from being developed, they had to be lifted to bring them to market under emergency approval and not through traditional vaccine approval measures (which can take years to achieve). And because of this accelerated approval process, many people of certain political affiliation dismiss the vaccines as being unsafe and therefore choose not to accept them. Crazy right? Think about it.

This was the one and only time i think i have ever agreed with Biden/Harris.  Too bad they flipped once in office.

Just one slight problem … they don’t work. Have a look at Israel where 80% of adults have been vaccinated and Pfizer was used exclusively. They are getting close to their hospitals being over run with Covid cases, all double vaccinated, and preparing 430,000  booster shots. The Story ran yesterday in the times of Israel. It should be obvious by now, vaccines increase Covid cases and variants.

For more evidence of vaccines not working, look up carnival sister. There is an outbreak on the ship, despite all the crew and passengers being vaccinated. Even Fauci has admitted in a  video yesterday which told vaccinated people they should still wear masks indoors, that the vaccinated and the unvaccinated both carry the same amount of virus.

But he does. And as any politician would, he's taking the credit for sending it to Thailand.

This is actually a masterstroke in vaccine diplomacy. There were never any happy Thais holding up pictures of President Xi during the SinoAde rollout. Even the poster shown is an example of positive messaging. "นายโจ" (Mr. Joe) but using the less formal word นาย instead of the formal ท่าน. "Just a little something from your friend Joe." Brilliant strategy.

Regardless of one's political leanings. It's refreshing to see some diplomatic competency for a change.

Many of us here have valid points. Whether Trump or Biden or both are responsible for vaccines ultimately making their way to Thailand and for whatever the humanitarian or geopolitical reasons, it still remains shameful that we Americans living here in Thailand cannot receive vaccinations from our government. The Chinese, French and Swiss have managed to vaccinate their citizens. And yet the vaccination of Americans has been proxied to the Thai...

He didn’t do it. DC mayor admitted in FOIA requests and court documents she ordered the protestors to be gassed. Also not peaceful, they nearly breached the White House and they torched the church across the street hence the photo op

Again not peaceful. $2 Billion in damages and that’s just the insurance estimate. Ops blinded. Federal buildings torched. Streets torched. Over 2 dozen people killed during the riots.

The only politician on record being anti-vax are actually Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. Harris at the VP debate said she wouldn’t trust a vaccine developed under Trump. Biden actually doubted a vaccine is possible. In fact he failed Trumps timeline of getting 70% of the population vaccinated by April 2021.

LOL no one was charged with an insurrection. In fact everyone is being charged with misdemeanors. Also no one was actually armed. For an insurrection not a single gun was found on an “insurrection” for a 4 mile radius. The closest gun was found 6 miles away locked in someone’s trunk. Only one protestor died due to a gunshot. Also no it’s not worse than 9/11 or Pearl Harbor or the war of 1812

Do you even know who campaigned on Defund the Police, who sieged police stations or who even chants ACAB? It’s not Trump. Even when we had National Guard stay in DC Trump allowed the NG and DC police and Capitol police stay at Trump hotel for free because he didn’t like when he saw them sleep on the floor of the Capitol Building.

When you mass mail mail-in ballots, remove or lengthen chain of custody of ballots, create new laws without legislative approval, blocking election monitors then you’re going to have problems. In Thailand, guess what you need to have an ID to vote, you have to vote in person unless you live overseas or old, you have to vote in the region you’re register to vote in.

Biden approved Russia’s direct pipeline to Germany. Why should the US protect Russia’s pipeline? Biden is also renewing Intercontinental Missile treaty with Russia, guess who isn’t invited China. Biden already unleashed over 1 million illegal immigrants into the US when we never had that problem 10 months ago. Also Joe Biden is a true racist. Biden had nothing to do with the vaccines. He and Harris are the only ones on record denouncing vaccines last year. 
 

Also African Americans and LatinX in democrat run cities are the largest groups to be unvaxxed.
