News Forum - Thailand tourist fee: 300 baht via air, 150 baht via land/sea
Yes Paul, but we had a lot of friends and we could drink there without to much pesting from the staff for drinks. We had fun nights, and we were a tight bunch staying in contact on the same forum. If I now go to Bangla, I have one or two bars where I can have a drink without having to say no every minute to someone asking a dring that costs 300 Baht. -

I was talking more established type places, higher end Because quite frankly, I have always thought service in a lot of smaller places in Thailand was always a bit indifferent and sucked And as you have pointed out, add the phones in now and forget it! Where I lived in Patong had a restaurant and pool and a small bar on the lower level The Brit owner was super cool and very generous The girls who worked there sat around eating all day and maybe helping 10 cusotmers, he paid them pretty good If it got even the tiniest bit busy, they would have meltdowns -

News Forum - Crazy Russian bites off British woman’s finger in Ko Pha Ngan bean bag row
- Hallo, lads! Where are you from? - Russia - All Russians should be sent back to Russia and denied international travel until their genocide in Ukraine stops, Putin is charged with war crimes and compensation is paid to the Ukrainians. Until then ALL Russians are unacceptable in any civilized society ... - (CHOMP!) P.S. Keep your bloody dogs and helminths out of a beach, where children play with sand. -

4-6 is my favourite time. I love sitting in a bar and watching the light fade and the night life start to ramp up. It’s great fun. -

I’ll take a picture next time. You can’t even walk up to an empty Diary Queen shop and not expect to have to wave to catch one of their attention as they are in the phone. It’s not just Thailand of course. It’s the same the world over. However, part of the selling point for Thailand use to be the impeccable customer service. This is slowly being eroded as Thailands culture starts to follow Western values.
