Under interrogation, the inebriated culprits confessed to their deeds, attributing their folly to alcohol-induced impulsivity.

Bullshit...pull down their pants and give them nice canning on their buttocks. Then ask them to repaint back all the vandalism the caused under tight supervison. Make it a lesson so that there is no repeated such actions by any party.

Russians??  I was so not expecting that. Nice of the Russians to write in mangled english. Honestly thought it would be someone else. The age is right though.

These young men are obviously not very patriotic as they are in Phuket and not serving the Motherland vandalizing in Ukraine. Not buying the drunk excuse as they were sober enough to buy paint cans and to methodically vandalize.

Now what will become of them? Visas revoked? Detention time? Lots of wais? A trip to a wat to show remorse? Perhaps Fanta can reach out and offer comfort?

Hope they are shipped back to Russia and Putin can draft them into the army which they are probably trying to avoid hiding out in Thailand.
